When I click the hyperlink from my computer, the image comes right up. If I delete "cookies.txt" and then click the hyperlink, the image still comes right up. However if I delete my entire ".mozilla" directory and then click the hyperlink, the image will not come up and I get a server error. If I restore the ".mozilla" directory and click the hyperlink, then the image comes up. I was not successful when I first tried to access the images from my machine at work. However after I logged into Yahoo and then logged out, Yahoo somehow marked my browser to allow access. From that point on I could access the images from my machine at work through the hyperlink. Permission to access the pictures appears to come from something deeper in my browser than "cookies.txt".

I've sent mail to Yahoo asking for an explanation. Some bright guy at Yahoo obviously put a lot of effort into limiting access to images stored on their server.
