I knew I was missing something but I'm amazed at what a Home Theater sound system adds to the DVD experience. It's really like being at the movies. I chose the Onkyo HT-S770. It's alot of bang for the buck. 130 watts per chanel and a 220 watt subwoofer. It rattles windows and bounces the couch. Tested it out with Van Helsing and AVP. It even brought a girlish smile to my wife's face. With a 6.1 system, one consideration to keep in mind is where to put the rear surround speaker. Some living rooms might do fine with a 5.1.

Now the wife say's we need a bigger TV....I love that woman!
