Climbing Kilimanjaro. `
I know a bit about that, having organized 2 successful trips up the mountain, though pneumonia kept me from going on the second. On the first, all 13 of us who tried made the summit, and I got a day ahead and spent the night up there.
There is a sort of pseudo-climb of Kili, the "tourist" or "Coca-Cola" route which goes to Gilman's Point, not the summit but they will give you a summit certificate for getting that far.
When the time nears I can give you some information which will make it easier and more fun.
