Hello,
(Dr. Nick - Nice to see you reading/posting on the board as always)
How many years do you think it will be before the human race starts fundamentally understanding dark matter - 50?, 100?, 200?
It fascinates me how this force somehow "overpowers" gravity, thereby forcing the expansion of the universe. Furthermore, how does time (another dimension) tie into all of this. The ability of large masses to warp space time boggles the mind.
The quote at the end of the article really tops everyting off - "The Universe has all sorts of secrets still to reveal to us, but this shows that we are beginning to understand how to look at it in the right way. It's a really exciting discovery."
It's an exciting time to be alive regardless of how many years it takes...
Regards, Vince
