From a photographer’s viewpoint, that Niagara Falls UFO picture meets the rule of thirds nicely. And that is why the UFO in it is not real.

If you see a UFO, you will not be following the rules of photography to take a nice picture. You will be centering the camera on the UFO and taking the picture. ANd if your camera can zoom in on it, you will zoom in on it and take as many shots as possible.

That is, unless you see UFO all the time, and they are so common, you see them as everyday opjects. No big deal. "Look, another UFO. Damn!It messing up my picture. I'll wait until it moves out of the shot."

“Lets see, I have the horizon in the upper/middle horizontal third boundary of the picture. The falls are nicely placed in the middle horizontal third. I have objects up close in the right horizontal lower third foreground which balances the falls nicely. About the UFO. I like how it s in the middle/right vertical third boundary. What a nicely balanced picture. I think I’ll press the button now before the UFO moves and spoils the picture.”
