I never took a position in this debate, because it was so obviously political... I, like any thinking human, found his comments on 9-11 to be asinine and offensive as hell... I believe people have the right to have offensive beliefs. Decent people have the right to flame the hell out of those cretins on the left and right with words

I also felt he deserved the public backlash he was getting for those comments... as for firing on the basis of his 'beliefs' well... I would like to see him begging for dog food in the street, but punishing a person based on their beliefs gets into dangerous territory... But now he has been shown to be a criminal there should be NOTHING to stop him being fired....

The twit has made a living off of talking offensive beliefs - he recently got paid to speak here in hawaii... (like a week ago) I dont think he belives what he says... he just knows it will get him press and money... In short he is a whore...
