Dont give up.

Maybe a web page would work for you?

Go to Brinkster.com

Click on "Educational Package" (It's free)

Fill out the required info.
Note: your username will be used as your site name.
Follow the remaining instructions.

When your in -

Goto "Classic File Manager"
Click on defalt.htm (thats your home page)
Click "Edit"
Remove everything between <body> and &lt//body>and add what ever text you want. You can add style and color later if you want.
Click "Save and Exit to the File Manager"
Click default.htm and then Click "View" to look at your homepage.

To add one or more of your images, Click one of the "Browse..." buttons and navigate your computer to the image. Double click the file name and It will appear in the Upload box. Click "Start File(s) Upload"

You might as well leave all the images in the root directory for now.
To display the image Use the Image tag <img src="GarysPic.jpg"> between the <body> tags.

To make more pages to display more images just click "Creat New File"

Your page has to have at least opening and closing "html" tags and "body" tags i.e.

<html>
<body>
Pictures and text go here.
</body>
</html>

A page must have a file name and also must end with the .htm extension or you won't see it. Use the anchor tag < a href= > to link to pages (by filename) in the root directory.

I made a simple site to test what larger images look like when on Brinkster. This one is about 300K.

Brinkster will accept files up to 1MB.
