I just finished Quicksilver, read every damn word. :)

It took me nearly a month to read it. I suppose that anyone who writes a novel that long would be the greatest literary talent that ever lived if it didn't bog down occasionally. When I was halfway through it I decided that I would not read the other two parts of the trilogy but I have since read some reviews that say Confusion and System are much more readable and don't slog along as much as Quicksilver.

Suffice to say that the book was good enough and the characters interesting enough that I will at least give Confusion a whirl.

Do you agree that the last two are better than the first
