The referenced blog "The Word Unheard" repeats Dan Darling's theory that bin Laden is currently residing in Iran. However "The Word Unheard" goes beyond Dan Darling's theories with the
supposition that Iran is actively arming al Qaeda for a major attack against the United States.
Supposably some ex-Soviet nuclear material has gone astray and is now in al Qaeda's
possession. I have no way to judge the quality of this information. Supposably the Russians
are actively involved with Iran's nuclear reactor development. It's conceivable that some die
hard Cold Warrior within Russia (not Putin but someone else) is providing the Iranains with
ex-Soviet weapons. We'll know for sure if in the next month or two, Bush or Rumsfeld makes
a comment to the effect that an anonmymous nuclear attack upon the United States will be
assumed to have originated from Iran. A single Ohio class ballistic missile submarine could
exterminate most of Iran's population in less that 20 minutes. I fear that Iran's mullahs might
not understand what sort of hornet's nest they are playing with. They may have deluded
themselves into believing that Allah will protect them at the eleventh hour.
