"Tell me about it."
In Washington, we shook, rattled and rolled early Sunday morning. The epicenter was very, very close to my house. It was brief (about 3 sec.) but seemed more violent than the 3.5 reported.
People I talked to (including my wife) could "hear it coming like a freight train". I wonder if some people are more sensitive to the sound because I haven't heard it.
We had a similar quake a month ago centered on Whidbey Island. Since the 1996 Duvall quake, we've had more quakes in Washington than I can remember growing up here.
Oh, and by the way, My wife just tells me Mt. St. Helens just Blew.
Lovely.
