That gamma ray explosion
The december 27th gamma ray flash is truly amazing.
It was first detected by Mars Odyssey (in Mars orbit), then later on, by instruments near Earth and one was even hidden by the Earth but facing the Moon and it's its reflection on the Moon that got spotted.
Thr burst came from the other side of the Milky Way's bulge (a neutron star quake).
All this just 24 hours after the 9.3 on the Richter Scale earthquake that caused the tsunami.
A coincidence helped by the ever improving detection means.
