Is smoking bad? Yup...
Is smoking something that can affect the health of innocent bystanders in a closed space? Possibly, It definitely can make those with allergies to it uncomfortable.... (Though to be honest most people who are smoke 'sensitive' are only sensitive if they KNOW you have been smoking- in other words its THEIR psychological problem)

Should people be allowed to smoke in resturaunts? No- it is rude- so is cell phone use and farting and bringing loud children.

Is smoking a personal choice that is your right to do if you so choose? Yes...

Should people that took up smoking since 1970s be allowed to sue cigarette companies? Nope, hell since the discovery of cigarettes it was known that they can hurt your health with long term use...

(pausing to light up a cigarette)

Smoking should be discouraged, but quite frankly the silliness has gone too far- anyone see that stinker movie 'Waterworld'? (If you did see that movie there is treatment available for those that were traumatized by how exceedingly bad it was, and there is a class action suit you can join) In that movie the world has been covered in water due to global warming and the actor Kevin Costner has an exceedingly valuable tomato plant... yet the villans of the movie have a seemingly never ending supply of tobacco... in fact the bad guys were referred to as "The Smokers"

Nope, the right wing is not oppressed, nor are christians.... It is the smoker that is oppressed, made a pariah and villified by the media... (That was said tounge in cheek)
