100,000 civilian dead in Iraq?
More people are beginning to notice how solidly a number from a single statistical study has been carved in stone. Not even the anti-war site IraqBodyCount uses this number, yet it is passed around as though it is no more in doubt than the atomic weight of hydrogen.
The idea that 33,000 additional civilians have been killed by the war in the six months since the study, mentioned in one of the quotes, is insane. Yet who's going to call him on it?
