It has always been my view that if someone keeps a still camera pointed at you long enough, you're going to be caught in some photos that are real stinkers, so I don't really put a lot of stock in this. One does wonder who picks the shots for publication, though.

Some shots, like Kerry in the bunny suit, he or his staff should have seen coming a parsec away, and they share some of the blame.

Just as an aside, inspired by some of the photos, it became sadly obvious through the campaign, and even more so in recent news, that Teresa Heinz (no longer calling herself Teresa Heinz-Kerry) doesn't really have much use for her current husband, and I actually felt sorry for him at a few points. She's a screwball, and would have given Marie Antoinette a run for her money as a prominent part of our leadership.
