re: Mini Big Bang Created, Puzzling Results Too Explosive

My question is, was it really a "big bang" of any sort that could even be equated to the current view on the creation of our Universe, or is it just a better headline-grabber to call it such?

I am not saying this wasn't an impressive and important event for adding to human understanding of our existence, but I always wonder when the news media uses such phrases.

And I also know the authors don't often get to choose their story titles, either.
