From what I gathered Spitzer won't be put to use in discovery of exoplanets but only in detecting the difference of spectrum between there host of existing known exosystems?
Will this technique using Spitzer only work for a crossing of the host star by the planet?
Bummer, we will have to wait over 10 years for NASA's Terrestrial Planet Finder for images.
