Thanks for the link/information.

Back in 2001, the Chandra team put together a 400 by 900 light-year mosaic of several Chandra images, capturing the central region of our Milky Way galaxy. The mosaic revealed hundreds of white dwarf stars, neutron stars, and black holes bathed in an incandescent fog of multimillion-degree gas.

The image is one of my personal favorites.
