re: Advancement to a hydrogen economy
I think the future of energy supply may rely on somoluminescence 'fusion' generation,
[assuming nuclear fusion is feasible with somoluminescence]. Or if not, there is always the
possibility of using theorized zero-point energy [think casimir plates].
I read a recent science report stating that a "sonoluminesce" experiment
was carried out lately, using sulphuric acid as the fluid medium, generating temperatures over 200,000 Kelvin in the bubbles generated.
Obviously you're a long way from fusion temperatures [approaching 100 million Kelvin];
but 'fission' of deuterium nuclei may help [deuterium nuclei split at about 2 million Kelvin].
That's my two-cents worth.
