Why does San Francisco attract these people?
San Francisco competes with Prague, Capetown and Sydney for the distinction of being the world's most beautiful city. However I find the utter weirdness of the people living in San Francisco a source of distraction. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind moderate eccentricity or colorful politics. That used to be among San Francisco's strong points. Unfortunately, San Francisco has gone beyond this by embracing really repellent politics and lifestyles. It was better when it just just hippies, artists and the occasional prostitute.
