Yup, I think we should ban the Sun.
Sure, it's kinda big and somewhat indifferent to any human activity, but if do enough protests, it will evenually have to take notice.
There is minor problem though, the Sun belongs to group of stars of billions and billions- there thousands of times more stars than all the humans on Earth. And a good number of their star-like members are doing some pretty terrible stuff, like spewing out huge amounts of x-rays which would kill human if not lead coffins or were living on planets which were somewhere around 1000 times as massive as earth's atmoshere. They also do thing like supernova which is so powerful that it would dissolve nearby planets in the solar system and killing all lifeforms within a dozen lightyears. This is all very rude behavior, not only does these supernova spew intense high energy and high energy particles but they also create mountains of highly radioactive material, spewing it everywhere and all of this without any governmental permission.
Now, as you know politics is all about the numbers, and the good news is there there might be more planets than there stars, so we need to get out the vote by registering all these planets. And then we can take our planetary issues to the stellar community and seek a meaningful settlement to our concerns.
