Outlook Express question

I get a lot of e-mails in my business that have large attachments like presentations, images, etc. These get copied into appropriate files.

Many of these e-mails also have a lot of explanation in the main text that I don't want to discard.

Is there any way to peel an attachment off an archived e-mail and leave the main e-mail alone? My e-mail files are bulky, to say the least. Not a problem--my disk drives are enormous--but at some point I'm afraid I'll hit some limit in Outlook Express or something.
