Decimal Time
Hi SDF
Isaac Asimov had the Aurorans introduce decimal time for scientific reasons, thus 100 second minutes, hundred minute hours, 10 hour days, 10 day weeks and 100 day "years". Or something like that. As a result they could claim multi-hundred "year" lifespans, though by Earth time they lived maybe 200 or so years.
Or we could try Joan Vinge's decimal time from "Outcasts of the Heaven Belt" and "Media Man" - thus a 100 kilosecs is roughly a day, and so on. Would make sense in the asteroid communities described in those stories, and also on the tide-locked planets mentioned in the novel.
