As for what the scientist said about the motives before/after Israeli strike.....you picking and choosing which testimony you want to believe?
Frankly, I'm skeptical of what any Iraqi associated with these programs has to say about them.
It should be remembered that, as it turned out later, defectors and others from these programs fed us a lot of bullshit prior to the war, something that had as much to do with the administration's conclusions as anything directly observed by our intelligence agencies.
