I think it'll get errr.. more 'duney' before Erebus - but to be honest, we've crossed a LOT of dunes like this - I think we just got unlucky here.

Once we're in the etched terrain proper - I think actually - it'll be easier going - flat rockey outcrops ( like Vostok ) make GREAT traversability. There's quite a bit of elevation at erebus if you exagerate pancam images pointed that way vertically - should be highly interesting :)
