Has anyone suggested how a bird as conspicuous as an ivory billed woodpecker could have survived unnoticed for a good part of a century? A cealocanth at least has a decent place to hide (under water), but a bird doesn't have the same luxury. I suggest the ivory billed woodpecker is actually a Zonkey.
