NASA Announces Key Genesis Science Collectors in Excellent Shape
Experts from the Los Alamos National Laboratory removed the Genesis Solar-Wind Concentrator targets from their assembly on Tuesday, April 12 at the Johnson Space Center. The targets were kept safe in their assembly from shortly after the Genesis hard landing in September 2004 until now. At Johnson Space Center Curatorial Facility's class-10 cleanroom, workers disassembled the final pieces of the Concentrator and removed the four target pieces.

Meet Amy Jurewicz and Learn How We Know That We Have Data Returned From the Sun
As project scientist, Amy has had the opportunity to work on multiple aspects of the mission, including fabrication of some of the Genesis materials at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory prior to launch, and data analysis since sample return in September 2004. In her interview, Amy shares with us an analysis of magnesium in one of the returned Genesis collector materials. http://genesismission.jpl.nasa.gov/people/jurewicz/jurewicz_interview.html

Adapted Curriculum Enhancements Level the Playing Field
Scientific principles are challenging to understand, and even more challenging when you can't see what the teacher's talking about. Up until recently, visually impaired students struggled to keep up with others when it came to science concepts. Now it's different. Now there are teaching and learning materials specifically designed to meet the needs of visually impaired students.
