My Reply: Tell that to the families who have lost their loved ones in Iraq.
Certainly, the casualties in Iraq pale in comparison to the losses in World War II. But remember that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor while Iraq did nothing to threaten Americans or American interests. His regime was fully neutered and contained. The Japanese attacked us without procovation. We attacked Iraq without provocation. Therein lies the difference.
