Yes, and many arabs think killing US citizens is preventing a wrong and, in not helping us in our seeking out of terrorists, are not enabling any immoral activity.

Freedom fighters by any other name?

Fortunately, Davin said he disagreed with that position but believed that they believed it. My words were:

While you're busy traveling down HZ memory lane--you may also want to review yours and your own brother's posts about the possibility that insurgents were freedom fighters standing up for Iraqis and against foreign invaders.

That's pretty much on the mark. Clearly neither of you were ever in the Bowser zone wherein all insurgents were obviously freedom fighters, but that was not my point.

Let's cut to the chase and the point of my comment anyway--Since you were playing hindsight is 20/20--do you believe that this war will end up being celebrated by Iraqis as their own war for independence and freedom? Or do you think more Iraqis still wish things were the way they were when Saddam received 100% of the vote? Which is it?

Do you think the US led war is now viewed as a blessing by the Iraqi masses or a curse? Or simply somewhere inbetween?
