Huge bombs in downtown Baghdad, designed to terrorize the population and destroy the will to resist?

Pure terrorism in a mix of military, religious, and governmental employees and men, women and children civilians.

Picture the same bombs in downtown New York, or Washington, D. C.

In fact, those were the first terror bombings of the current Iraq conflict.
