Space/Science » in reply to "Unmannedspaceflight.com" seems to be down.

tell me about it!

I know it's down - and for no good reason either. It doesnt say 'account suspended' at my URL - it autoforwards to some obscure dns page.

It's fully paid up for 2 years, and WELL within the accounts bandwidth limits - the fact that it doesnt say 'account suspended' on my URL, but some autoforwarded URL suggests that it's a Host issue and not an issue with my account per-se.

I thought things couldnt get worse w.r.t. hosting at the old place (mer.rlproject.com hosted by Globat.com - avoid at all costs) - but OHhhhhh no - how silly I was - I organise new hosting for the unmannedspaceflight.com URL by a firm called www.imhosted.com - and it's even bloody worse. Words dont begin to explain how enraged I am. I continue to look for a hosting company that is expandable ( from 2gb storeage / 50gb BW & Good SQL upwards to dedicated hosting ) and reasonably priced. You'd think it'd be easy eh!

Fear not - 99% of the content is backed up (the forum DB and attachments I backup every w'end) - but I'd rather not move AGAIN. I'll give the hosting an opportunity to explain themselves - but this is very nearly the final curtain for what has been a shocking experience in hosting.

I've tried the URL's IP directly - but it's the same 'state'
