Just a side note:
The resore point function is great; however, one thing to keep in mind with the restore points is that they themselves can re-infect your system with some nasty viruses, spyware, and such.
I've had problems with spyware and unwanted pop-ups that I couldn't seem to get rid of no matter what I tried; however, once I turned off the restore point function in my system properties, and the system deleted (automaticly) all the restore points, the annoying pop-up went away.
Then I turned the restore point function back on and created a new "clean" restore point. Haven't had a problem since...The user who infected the computer was pretty embarrassed though, as the pop-ups were all of a pornographic nature. (He swore he never visited such a site on the computer in question). It was fun pretending not to believe him though...
