Memo disputes Bush Iraq claims
"WASHINGTON Â A highly classified British memo, leaked during Britain's just-concluded election campaign, claims President Bush decided by summer 2002 to overthrow Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and was determined to ensure that U.S. intelligence data supported his policy."
The guy made it up? It was a forgery (that was disproved)?
Kinda curious, cause it validates the only logical explanation for the war.
Look at the actions - invade the country, secure the oil fields, let anarchy and looters reign over the rest. Not the actions of anyone interested in "liberation" of the population.
Very heavy handed tactics, from bombing cities, shooting at will, torture and abuse of prisoners, abuse of families during searches, etc.
Not the actions of anyone who gives a damn about Iraqis. ARE the actions of someone who cares about oil.
Wonder how that memo is explained away.

Doin' the Pretzel - How do conservatives rationalize the British memo?
