The US has been destroyed, at least the US which stood for human rights and other noble causes, the US of the Korean War, the US of the Marshal Plan, the US where law prevailed, a US which was a model for the world. That's gone.
We have a US where the President lies to go to war, lies to waste money and lives, and where conservatives cluck over a magazine article and NOT over planted news articles, paid journalists, etc.
And Iraq has been destroyed in a raw grab for oil. (If the US were interested in Iraqis they would be treated with respect. They ain't.)
So, looking for the good news is a rather sick proposal. And ignoring the President's lies as he ignores the values which made America great is positively un-American.

There is no good news in a war which destroys two nations needlessly.
