I know the theory, what I was trying to say was how the rings don't seem to be disturbed from the encounter with Iaeptus.
The ring system and gaps have uniform properties that are unique to each band an gap. If Iaeptus had an encounter with the rings how come each ring and gap is unique? Wouldn't the encounter spread throught the ring system?
