Anyone else planning on going to the Mars Society Conventiuon this year? Finally committed and registered Friday. Just couldn't pass it up with all the Mars probe data that's going to be presented this year and NASA's new direction. Hopefully this one will have more of the atmosphere of the first which was a blast.

It's kind of irritating that the only years I get to go to the MS convention are the years they are held in Boulder. At least I know how to get by real cheap there.

I'm avoiding internal operational planning and politics like the plague this time to focus on the fun stuff other than giving a certain prima donna documentary director a piece of my mind if an opportune moment arises (the one that gave me a bad case of burn out). CE has also given me a case of political indigestion. I'm so sick of people yammering on in dugout positions never really listening or trying to undewrstand the other side and totally unwilling to admit gross inadequacies in both political party's current stances.
