we're living in times where we can project and amplify thoughts & dreams into computer simulations (virtual reality) .. that's about the extent of it I'd say ..

but is this guy serious? It looks like a great academic joke. However -

ote that Weatherson accepts the third disjunct in the conclusion of the Simulation Argument - i.e. that there are many more simulated human-like persons than non-simulated ones.

Well, this does agree with my own findings, LOL
