Contents of Cosmos 1 CD online again
The contents and info on the Cd being carried aboard Cosmos 1 are online again at The Planetary Society Web site here:
http://www.planetary.org/solarsail/prelaunch_report4_20050616.html
You can read all of the messages and solar sail stories on the CD. If you are a Planetary Society member, your name will be on it as well. Which is sorta kinda like being on the satellite in person.
I really wish and hope they will use a laser beam to push Cosmos 1 out of Earth orbit and into interplanetary space, at least. Read the Clarke story to see what I mean.
