In what area was Whitman working? Who were her contacts? What secrets did she obtain? Who were her contacts? Were they prosecuted? What about the other NINE spies? What Americans did they subvert? Were they prosecuted? Why not?

What are Snowden's secrets? Why did he go to Russia? Doesn't it make sense that Russia would want to know what he does, and also keep it from the rest of the world? Whitman tweeted him - does that make it a serious proposal? Do they know each other, have they met?

Have you ever asked anyone to marry you in jest? I have.

The US is notoriously close-mouthed about spies and what they have found out. Russia the same. With good reason.
