Your humerous riposte brings to mind folks who get seriously worked up about innocuous choices of words in BBS posts and read deep meaning into phrasing that's not intended thusly. I am NOT referring to any choices or critical comments in this specific thread, just in general. They forget that posters are not professional MSM media folks with editors, and that in many cases BBS posts are begun and finished between work interruptions or while multi-tasking. A BBS is not as rigorous as a blog, although more thoughtful than a chat room; it's often free form thinking with occasional well-thought out posts that rightfully stand out in the crowd.
