Don't know if it's true but they say trains hauling oil have increase 28000% in the last 5 years. The more trains, the greater the odds of an accident, regardless of the cause of the accident.
I have a friend who works for a company that cleans up derailments in the Northwest. Seems he goes out at least once a month.
