Wasn't meant to "Flame" you at all. Posted it on this board because some of my comments might have been construed to be critical of another 'Zoner.

Regarding back-channel stuff. I believe what makes a community a Community is the lack of secrets, and sometimes, not always, but sometimes the back-channel stuff is an attempt to seek undue influence.

Can be used, certainly, for legitimate purposes.

Having said that, Monday I'll be leaving the Boards for 5 to 6 weeks as my pooch and I walk the Oregon portion of the Pacific Crest Trail, 464 miles. At least I'm gonna start to walk that. (Was wondering how to lose 30 pounds, thought of this.) Won't be gone because I'm mad, though I'm not particularly sane, either.

May post that on Community, too. Wouldn't want anyone who would notice to think I had been run off, but be aware I had walked off.
