Perhaps our decedents will possess the knowledge and technology to restart dead stars. Perhaps they can find a way to turn a stars mass back into hydrogen and restarted the star.
This might be an option for those living in the far future where the universe is forever expanding, cooling and darkening (If that is the fate of the Universe)
Or will they see star as wasteful. Perhaps they will get their own energy from their own conversion of mass into energy.
I wonder if they will envy us, who lived back when the Universe was young and bright?
