The Skycar is aeronautical vaporware
From all that I've been able to find out about the project, it seems more geared to suckering investors than building flying hardware. I first heard about Skycar about 10 years ago. After all these years, it still hasn't made an unteathered flight, nor did its predecessor. In short, I'll believe it's for real when it's demostrated in front of a crowd at Oshkosh or Sun-N-Fun.
