I suppose this indicates that US effort to stop Israel from selling weapons systems to China has failed.
But regardless of the reason, it seems China is stronger ally than Europe in regards to the Iran.
I've been thinking for while that we should lift US sanctions in regards to Iran. Yeah, I know the recent Iranian elections were a fraud and Iranian dissidents are favorable to our continuing sanctions.
I think that now is a good opportuny to lift sanctions and try to open offical diplomat relationships. I don't care if it looks like US is losing face in this regard, in fact I think eating humble pie in this regard would greatly benefit US relations in the region.

The Iranian rulers may at this time be much more open to idea of beginning diplomatic relations the US- they could say it vindicates their hardline approach.
