All the genius this country has produced, and people can't even reach back beyond their own lifetimes?
Of course, I disagree. I don't think Reagan was a poor American, but I believe he was about average as a President, and reaped benefits from the efforts of a Cold War fought for decades before he took office.
Without George Washington, we would likely have become a monarchy again. I admire Thomas Jefferson much more, but Washington was indespensible.
