I swear, the guy must have a service monitoring the HabitableZone for any occurrence of his name. Damnedest thing: Nine minutes after that post Cowing sent me an email to complain about it. Nearly 10PM his time on a Friday night, too. Now that's a thin skin!

You might remember that I kicked Keith Cowing's sorry ass out of here a while back. Since he's not a participant, let alone a member of the community, it's really not proper to use the Flame board to say things like...well, damn, can't think of anything mild enough to escape the wrath of somebody so dreadfully thin-skinned. It's not fair to Keith Cowing, because he can't post to defend himself.

Well, actually, he can post at Flame, but he disdains to participate in our "little club", and prefers to harrass me with email. I assume he just doesn't want to get his sorry ass whupped if he participates in a HabitableZone flame. Probably wise.

So here I am on a Friday night, cleaning up again. Look, guys, I understand how you feel about Keith Cowing, and I share your profoundly low opinion of him. But while it might seem like you can get away with telling him the truth with impunity because he won't show his face here, the reality is he harrasses me behind the scenes. I certainly wouldn't ask you to knock it off for the sake of somebody like Keith Cowing, but how about giving me some peace?
