Shut the BLANK up!

I am not a neurosurgeon, so you would not see me going around giving medical advice. Since when does being in a film or on television make one an expert on anything?

Billions of dollars are spent on Earth matters ever day, but I haven't noticed the amount of poor people dwindling, have you? If these people had a clue about all the things that space has done to make their lives better (comsats, to name just one immediate thing they can maybe grasp, like their cell phones), they might just shut up and be grateful for modern technology - which I am sure none of them would want to give up, to say nothing of the absurd amounts of money they get paid to so-call entertain us.

There ya go - I say that the billions of dollars spent on making mostly-crappy movies and supporting the overfed egos of talentless actors be used to help the truly needy right here on Earth. I can hear the hue and cry now.

I don't know if I could get through the day as easily without the technology from space exploration that has improved life all over the place, but I know without a doubt I can get through life without the rhetoric of one more actor who didn't even finish college, or start.

Ahhhh, thank you for letting me rant.

And now about those Hollywood budgets banks and salaries....
