Let me tell you how it actually IS in the UK

We dont care.

It's that simple.

You're linking this article, that article, this blog, that blog, as if the reign of terror of the UK has just begun and will be never ending.

It's all bollocks, to put it mildly. The national opinion regarding the london bombs is "is that it?". Yes - 49+ people died, very sad, minutes silence here, a moment of reflection there - but come on - this is central London in the rush hour. If they'd wanted to kill a lot of people, they did a crap job - and the transport system was brought to it's knees for..oooo..8, 9 hours - while everyone was at work anyway.

We're used to this crap - we had it from the (P)IRA for decades. This is nothing new - and frankly - we just dont care about it.

If we do - if we actually care - if we change the way we live our lives ONE IOTA - then the terrorists have won - see?

The hour and hours of queing in US airports to have your finger prints taken, your retina scanned, your bags ripped open, treated like a criminal simply because you want to board a plane - all that inconvenience, that fuss, that bother is a terrorist victory.

Here in the UK - we simply wouldnt give them the pleasure. The police will do the best they can to find people. There's nothing else that can or should be done. Life MUST and life WILL go on AS USUAL. ANYTHING other than that is a Terrorist victory, and that CAN NOT and WILL NOT happen because as a nation, we simply wont let it.
