I'm late to the party here, having been off net, but IF Rove (or anyone else) is guilty of breaking the law by deliberately outing a covert operative, he should pay the legal penalty. And I hope that it's not bs like suspension of his secret clearance for a few years. It should involve jail time if he's guilty as implied.
I was amazed to read of the relatively light jail sentence penalties that several the Navy family who sold top secret sub info to the Russians received. THEY should have been summarily executed.
