There is a lot of overlap and grey areas. And people can change over their lifetimes. I've become more economically conservative, but remain socially liberal, generally, and also non-religious. I certainly hate expressing one view on one subject only and suddenly be called a "PC pussy" or a "neocon-artist" or something.
Of course, "left" and "right" is easier to type. :-p
